You are Alton Avery. A criminal investigator for the Apex City Police. For weeks you've been tracking a serial arsonist. You're especially determined to find this criminal because they've been targeting the few family owned businesses that haven't been swallowed by larger corporations. You received an anonymous tip online detailing their next targeted location. You and your Automated partner, CASE, arrive at the location only to find smoke emanating from the building.
